The first beer we ever made, Gateway is. a crisp and refreshing ale that drinks like a pilsner. Just like our town of Bolivar is the 'Gateway to Tuscarawas County', this beer is a great gateway to craft beer.

STRAWBEERY ALE

Fruited Ale

6.2% ABV - 15 IBU

​

The annual summer Bolivar Strawberry Festival served as inspiration for this crisp, clean ale with a slightly tart strawberry finish. Andrew originally created this recipe as a homebrew, and would share it on his porch with friends and neighbors during the festival. These days, each batch is made with over 40 pounds of strawberry purée!

TWISTED STEM

Seasonal Pumpkin Ale

9.5% ABV - 21 IBU
 

Twisted Stem Pumpkin Ale is brewed with pumpkin pie spices, vanilla, brown sugar, and 100 pounds of real pumpkin!

Clocking in at 9.5% ABV, this big seasonal ale is the perfection companion to a spooky campfire season with friends!

SOLSTICE SELTZER

Wild Berry Seltzer

5% ABV - 0 IBU

 

Brewed with dextrose (corn sugar) and cold-fermented, this seltzer is gluten free* and allowed to fully condition before blending with wild berry 

purée.

RUCKUS IPA

American IPA

6.8% ABV - 68 IBU

 

At the height of the British empire in the late 1700’s, sailors and troops in India learned that the climate was too warm for brewing. Pale ales were made with extra hops and higher ABV to help preserve the beer during transport from England to India, and the style India Pale Ale was born.

 

Our West-Coast Style IPA is full-bodied, with hop-derived citrus and stone fruit flavors.

OLD LOCKPORT LAGER

Prohibition Era Lager

4.5% ABV - 25 IBUs

 

Lockport was named as an homage to the rich history of brewing beer in Tuscarawas County. Prior to Prohibition, beer produced by the New Philadelphia Brewing Co. was distributed everywhere from Buffalo, NY to as far west as Kansas City. Their flagship beer was Old Lockport Lager, and while no recipe has been recovered, we've brought the beer back to life using historic information and context clues.

​

this golden lager is brewed with 6-row malted barley, corn, and Cluster hops - ingredients commonly used by American brewers prior to Prohibition.

This limited edition version of our flagship IPA is infused with over 125 pounds of blood orange fruit purée, adding flavors of sweet orange and tangy red grapefruit.

OKTOBERFEST

German-Style Festbier
6.5% ABV - 30 IBU

 

The original Oktoberfest celebration was established in 1810 by Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, in celebration of his marriage. The public was invited to celebrate, and nearly 40,000 Bavarians attended the party in Munich.

​

Our seasonal Oktoberfest lager has a medium body, malty flavor, and a dry finish. Prost!

Above the Clouds is a hazy New England IPA, brewed with loads of juicy Citra, Idaho 7, and El Dorado hops for a refreshing citrus ale.

MUNICH DUNKEL

Bavarian Lager
5.3% ABV - 28 IBU

 

Munich Dunkel is a light-bodied, dark lager from the Bavaria region of Southern Germany. The most prominent character is its delicately roasted Munich malts, which are carefully balanced with Continental hops. The result is a crisp, clean, sessionable lager that's delicious in the winter, or any time of year. Prost!

Fruited Dessert Sour
5.3% ABV - 0 IBU

 

A fruited dessert sour made with168 lbs of fruit puree for a tart cherry flavor with a touch of graham cracker sweetness

 

Made without hops, this beer derives most of its tart flavor from carefully selected bacteria that are introduced during the brewing process.

We are thrilled to partner with our friends from Knobby Side Down mountain bike club to release this special IPA made with Idaho 7 & Citra hops.

KSD works tirelessly to create welcoming trails and events at Camp Tuscazoar Foundation Inc, attracting hundreds of mountain bikers from near and far to visit and enjoy our community.
